Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Sweet and sour sauce is great as a dipping sauce for so many snacks and recipes. Try it with our American Wagyu ground beef meatballs.

SAUCE INGREDIENTS

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup water
**ketchup, food coloring or more paprika can be added to deepen the color.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and paprika in a medium sauce pan.

  2. Add vinegar and water to sauce pan.

  3. On medium heat, cook until thick and bubbly.

MEATBALL INGREDIENTS

2 lbs American wagyu ground beef
1 lbs ground pork (or your favorite meatball mix-in)
1 cup oats or bread crumbs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prep baking sheet with parchment paper. Set oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine all ingredients. Use a 2 TB scoop to form meatballs. Cook for 18-20 minutes.
